For U13-U19, there is only the Sportsplex option. The cost of the season can be anywhere from $150-$300 per player depending on how many players sign up, how often teams practice, and where teams practice. A $50 deposit is required at the start of the season to hold your spot, but the rest of the total can be paid off over time. The final total may not be known at the start of the season, but should be given by the 2nd week of the season. The full payment must be made by the end of the season. Scholarships may be available Winter teams typically practice 1-2 times each week. In the earlier weeks of Winter A, practice may be held outside at Ives or East Niagara. Sportsplex indoor space is available to rent for $85-$115 an hour. If your team will practice at Sportsplex, this will be included in the final registration total. Due to field availability, practice times may begin at 5:00pm if at Sportsplex. Gym space may also be available for practices at lesser/no cost. Fundraising is available to help subsidize the registration costs. Typically players have the option to sell candy bars and football squares to help reduce their costs. New players/ teams may see an added costs for uniforms their first season. A minimum of 11 players are needed to make a team for a winter season. Winter teams of all age groups and genders are possible, provided there is enough interest. Given previous teams/ interest, we will likely run a U11/12 Boys, U11/12 Girls, U14 Boys, U14 Girls. The cost is typically higher since it is a longer season and there is less opportunity to practice outside to reduce cost. Costs may be $150-$350 per player depending on how many people sign up. If your player participated in the Winter A session, they should have a uniform which will lower the cost. Recruitment for the Winter B season will begin in December. If a team does not have enough interest for the Winter A session, we will still try for the Winter B session. We will still do candy bar and football square fundraising to help lower costs for the Winter B session.
